davej Posted November 24, 2013 Share Posted November 24, 2013 (edited) I think the only critical thing is to start with HTML and then add CSS. After that it all mixes together pretty quickly. One caveat is that tutorial code must be considered a simplification that may contain code usage that is not considered good practice on actual webpages. One clear example is document.write(). This is an easy way to produce an output and it is used widely in tutorials, but it is rarely used on an actual webpage because it is a crude tool that can overwrite data.
