Faracus
I'm looking to start up a website where a user can build their own computer, and then check out the stats, the issue is that some parts can be used in multiple slots (e.g cases can support multiple motherboard types) so I'm wondering can I do something like Comer Separated Values in the database, then have PHP check each value individually to check if that is in there. For example this Case can support the following motherboards ATX Micro ATX Baby AT E-ATX So I would like it to only show up when the user has selected one of those types of motherboards. davej
"Comma separated?" No, but you can certainly have a table where two columns form a composite primary key. TYPE SUBTYPE------ -------------'ATX' 'Full''ATX' 'Micro''ATX' 'E''AT' 'Full''AT' 'Baby''BTX' 'Full' http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATX Edited December 26, 2013 by davej
