Easy form updating/comments

I have a site and I wanted to make updating it easier. I've been reading a lot of the tutorials on this site and have gone through a few posts.Anyways, what I wanted to do is make my main page for my site easily updated via a form that I(or anyone with the password) can do. I'm not looking for multiple users/passwords, just one password that has to be entered when attempted to update the main page.The second thing I'd like to be able to do is add comments onto the posts, where anyone can comment through a form. The comment would just have a simple name and comment form, no users or passwords needed though I would like to be able to delete them using the same password as above.Anyways, the output I would like something like this:Update 1Posted by Dusty at 1:30pm, 6.20.2006blahblah blahblah blahblah blahblahblahblah blahblahComments (1) : post a commentAll comments would be brought up on a seperate small pop-up window instead of having to grab the active post or such.Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

unless you are set on writing it your self it sounds like you want a blog-style page. There are tons of downloads you can get that will do that for you. Like http://www.wordpress.org

Okay, well I downloaded that and I got a database, but I'm confused on how to set everything up. It says upload all the files for wordpress, would that be upload them into my site or the database?

to your site. Once you have done create a database with a user and password to be used by wordpress.Then go to http://www.yoursite.com/wordpressfolder/wp-admin/install.php
