PROBLEMS WITH BACKGROUND AND LINK COLORS

I'm having some problems with the background color and link color on a site i'm working on. i've got the color for the bground set as white, but for some reason it's showing up dark gray. also, on my links, they are showing up as purple (see the essential oil link). i have it set as white. i'm working in dreamweaver and have checked my property settings and looked through the code but can't figure it out. i'm using some code for a drop down menu for the first time and am thinking that it could be somewhere in that. could someone take a look through the code and see where i'm missing the problems. thanks guys (and gals).mike

Hi. Can you please use 

 for your codes? Your code takes up a lot of space on the page.Just looking at the code the background problem is probably because on your table cell spliter ([b]<tr>[/b]) you have the [b]bgcolor[/b] of [b]#999999[/b], which is a darker gray. You would have to remove them from your table to make that color go away. You have 2 [b]<body>[/b] tags, you're only suppose to have one and on one of those body tags you have a [b]bgcolor[/b] of [b]#BACE99[/b] which is not gray, however I don't know if you wanted it your background or what. As for your links, you have no color attachted to them (in your CSS styles), so by default they will be blue, and once you click a link, it will turn purple becuase you have visited it (Which is probably what you're talking about), all those colors are default unless you change them.Based off of that, I'll give you these links inorder to help find your solution:> CSS Color Names> CSS Pseudo-classes (Links)> body tag> TR Background [/font]
