JaredFish
I have had a website up on freewebtown's servers for awhile now where they host it at:http://www.freewebtown.com/myusernameI have finally got round to registering my own domain name. It's paid for and currently (as they callit) "parked" on the registrar. How on earth do I set it up to link to my host?
aspnetguy
Most free hosts don't let you point your domain to their servers. Using their subdomain is advertisement for them. You will most likely have to setup the domain (at the registrar) as a redirect to your free subdomain.Try awardspace.com...I think they let you use your own domain even with a free account. floyd
To be more specific you have to alter the nameservers in your domain name panel. The new nameservers must point to your host. For example my host is...ns1.computinghost.comns2.computinghost.comI bought my domain name at 1and1.com. After they said it was ready I went into my control panel and changed my nameservers from 1and1.com to computinghost as you see above.
