kwilliams
I was able to install a DVD installation of SQL Server 2005, SP 2 on my current PC without a problem. But when I tried to do the same install on my new computer, which has the exact same OS, I ran into the following errors:Error #1IIS Feature RequirementMS IIS is either not installed or is disabled. IIS is required by some SQL Server features...Error #2Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SetupAn installation for this product Microsoft SQL Server Native Client cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package.Error #3Workstation Components, Books Online, and Development ToolsFailed to installSo because of these failures, SQL Server 2005 was unable to be installed. Both PC's have an OS of Microsoft Windows XP Pro, Version 2002, SP2. So I have no idea what could be causing this problem. If anyone could help to point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks.
