justsomeguy Posted March 4, 2014 Share Posted March 4, 2014 Double buffering uses 2 frame buffers, a visible one and a hidden one. When a new frame is rendered it first gets rendered to the hidden frame. Once that is finished, it copies the rendered frame to the visible buffer.
