  1. So I now have gotten to the meat and potatoes of coding for my website. A question continues to arise, but I can't find the exact answer I'm looking for online. I'm having problems trying to put this concept into code, I just need to get pushed in the right direction. So here is the issue. Is there a way to link a PHP cookie to a user for lets say 24 hours, that will disable a certain link from working for the user. Then after the 24 hours it is enabled again. Another issue I have is, lets say I wanted to allow the user to use the link on different internet connections (a friends house, or a wifi spot at a coffee shop). Would that be able to function properly without abuse, especially with dynamic ip addresses? Any help is much appreciated.
