How would i add the click event to it sorry am a bit of a begginner

Hi there i am creating a datalist for my website, but i was just wondering when the results are displayed is there any chance that i can have them as links so when clicked on they will go to a different page thanks

Hey i am following this tutorial on w3schools http://www.w3schools.com/php/php_ajax_livesearch.asp and want to create that onto my website but it just isnt working all it brings up is a search box and thats it, it doesnt let me search or anything any help will be appreciated thanks jag
