  1. My first post on the forum. Also since 2010 have dabbled in HTML so I'm a newbie as well. I want to be able to develop a web page that is only for my use. It will only be seen on an intranet within the walls of the Company I work. IE and Chrome for now are the only browsers which can be support. My vision for this web page is the following: (1) Page with four tabs (INTERNAL) (CUSTOMERS) (TOOLS) (GENERAL). Internal would be the default tab showing (2) (INTERNAL): Made up of hundreds of links for a myriad of procedures, work instructions and forms. My thought is to create a large table in the center and populate the table with about 20 main links. Hovering over each link will allow me to see its associated form, procedure, work instruction, chart, drawings etc. Would like to tab over to a table cell via tab key or short cut (3) (CUSTOMERS): Not very complicated and far fewer links. Would like to keep same format as INTERNAL, meaning a table in the middle of the page (4) (TOOLS): Similar to the two previous tabs but with links to unit conversions, dictionary link, a hodge-podge of useful things on the internet which makes the job easier. Maybe those tools embedded into the page. (5) (GENERAL): Links to newspapers, W3Schools forum, Facebook, e-mail, etc. etc. etc. (6) Would like a vertical calendar showing last 30 days, current month and two months out on the right column of web page. Occupying nor more than 20% of viewable screen on right. I want to be able to get to a button or link very quickly with a short cut or tab. I'm overwhelmed at all the different web development tools out there. Would like to keep it to one maybe 2 and allow me easy updates. A single web page with no scroll bars. This is my vision. Can someone in the collective point me to a web site which is similar and what do I use? HTML4, HTML5, CSS, Flash etc. Your thoughts on what my foundation application should be and other secondary tool (if any) which exist for free. What tools do I need for the internal web page development? I'm looking for a one-stop shop for all my links taking advantage of speed. Running Win XP Pro on a Pentium 4. Hope this isn't to much for my first post. Its been on mind for some time, now I want to do it. Thanks for any help you can provide. Tony
