This question is bugging the ###### out of me. I want to understand what do i really need for a responsive web design. As i see it, its as simple as just using the @media command to adjust for different screen sizes. Why do i even need the so called "grid" ?. Can a website be responsive without applying a framework ?

Forgot to mention that I've all ready tried all those "methods" margin 0 and padding 0 don't work either
