But it is far from convenient. Walking through the file system would help a lot if the user does not know where the file is located or its exact name.

Hey everyone, I am writing a small web app where the user can select files to be processed. The processing takes place on another server and the (huge) files are stored on a Network Share. So all I need is a possibilty to select a file path and use it like a text input field. How would I do that?
