Oh i see what is the difference! So if I have1.- <div> <header><h1>Lorem</h1> <p>Lorem ipsum...</p></header></div>2.- <div> <h1>Lorem</h1> <p>Lorem ipsum...</p></div>In CSSdiv p {color:red;} ORdiv > p {color:red;}The first CSS rule is going to set red to all <p> element inside the div so p in 1 and 2 are going tobe red but with the second rule just p in 2 is going tobe red!Now I see that inside and parent are not the same thing.

element element div p Selects all <p> elements inside <div> elements 1 element>element div>p Selects all <p> elements where the parent is a <div> element 2 So, what's the difference between this two selectors? Seems that inside and parent is the same isn't?

Most of the time I spend it in code view actually. Though I also use split view when I want to go to a specific area or if it’s a large list or a dropdown menu I save typing time that way. I think it’s faster!Hope your using code view! -
Yeah! the same happen to me.I'm using DWCS3 and it's great, has a great support and a forum too . Unfortunatelly DW it's not freeIf it wasn't of Dreamweaver I probably wouldn't be as far as I am right now. When I first began with HTML in design mode, the program help me a lot to understand how a page should be structured and how to write the code properly. I've looked through the web to find tutorials but I had hard time to understand the whole thing (I learn faster by doing it than reading some explanation about a tag meaning...). Now that I know how to code most of my stuff (we are always learning), I'm always in code mode using the auto-completion to go a little bit faster, text coloration and indent to spot my statement, variables and debug quicker. -
Thank you for your quick reply. I’m going to take in consideration that. But no. It doesn't matter that much if the host is not from your country. It makes a difference ONLY if you get robbed. If they're in your country, you can make the police take them out. If not, it will be much harder. But this applies only to fakes. A true, legitimate host, like any of the ones here that have at least one person to reccomend them, won't be robbing you, so this is not a concern here.
I got one from my country. The problem is the service, it is really pour and all of them are resellers. The other plus is you can go pay directly, instead of using a credit card. This saves you the transaction fees a bank will have. But if you live on the other part of the country, the fuel costs will be larger than the bank fee, so if you choose a host from your country, make it be from your town too. -
Hello every one! This is my first question in this forum, wow! Who says it’ll be about this! Now, after reading all the posts here I’m a little bit confused . I want to change my web hosting provider, mine is not good, but I have few newbie questions.Does it matter if the web hosting is in another country?Among all of the web hosting providers that I got from this thread in this forum, I like http://www.hostgator.com/http://dreamhost.com/http://www.lunarpages.com/http://www.awardspace.com/All of them are out of my country. I just can’t decide for which one to choose. Any sugestion?
