Help.
I'm trying to implement a simple dropdown menu into html document.
My head looks like this:
<!doctype html>
<html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">
<title>QuadQuest</title>
<!--[if lt IE 9]>
<script src="http://html5shiv.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script>
<![endif]-->
<link href="styles/page.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<link href="styles/menu.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<link href="webfonts/ArialNova/stylesheet.css" type="text/css">
<script type="text/javascript" src="styles/menu.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript"> function myFunction() {
document.getElementById("myDropdown").classList.toggle("show");
}
// Close the dropdown if the user clicks outside of it
window.onclick = function(event) {
if (!event.target.matches('.dropbtn')) {
var dropdowns = document.getElementsByClassName("dropdown-content");
var i;
for (i = 0; i < dropdowns.length; i++) {
var openDropdown = dropdowns;
if (openDropdown.classList.contains('show')) {
openDropdown.classList.remove('show');
}
}
}
}</script>
</head>
It works in the old IE11, but don't work in Chrome and Edge. If I remove the script from the head, don't work in nether of those browsers. Any ideas please?
