  1. I like the first design. I find it more eye catching and memorable than the other.

    My web site

Color-wise, you could try something like yellow, magenta, or maybe having fun and giving one a sort of negative effect.
  3. It's impressive. I like your background, and your banner looks awesome. However somewhere, I would like to see a description of the game and it's mechanics of how to play.
  4. Thanks. Yeah, I saw that second one at a bookstore once. I may pick that up at some point in the future.
  5. My very first computer programming experience was in Python and I am fairly proficient with it. I'm pretty much just good with the basics and basic theory. However, I've been having trouble finding a good book or tutorial on CGI with Python. Anybody have any recommendations?

    white on black

I'm not a big fan of white on black either, but it doesn't really cause me any "harm"; it's just bland. I personally prefer a light green, light blue, or even silver on a black background, since it's easy on the eyes.

  8. Hi, I'm not exactly new to programming in general, but I am fairly new to web design and programming of that nature. My first experience in programming was my high school course in which we learned to program in Python. Then at the end of the year, after a few weeks of VPython, we started on a very little amount of HTML which is what got me interested. My teacher recommended this site and I've been teaching myself these subjects as I come to them. Although, I'm still sort of trying to figure out whether I should start learning PHP and SQL now, since I'm not entirely sure with what I would use
