  1. I've been trying to get the 3 header links to work on that "try it yourself" example, and I've managed to do it if the ID tags are 3 lines above where I want to go to, which is going to make things confusing, so I think I'll give that fixed menu header a miss. Thanks for your help.
  2. I can get it to work if the top links are below the header, but not when they're on the header. I've tried everything, and it just doesn't work.
  3. Can someone tell me how it's possible to put "jump to" links on a fixed header (as on https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_fixed_menu.asp ) and have them successfully take the viewer to specific lines in the text below the header, as I've been unsuccessful in my attempts to do that.
  4. Sorry for my late reply but I was expecting an email when when someone responded to my post. Regarding my problem...I saw the tag "<div class="fixed-header"> on another example of how to put a sticky header on a webpage, and that worked. I'm now having trouble with "jump to" links in the header not working properly, so that'll probably be another post for this forum.
  5. Hi! I'm trying to make a webpage with a sticky "scroll to the top" button, and a sticky header. Instructions for something similar, except the header isn't sticky, are here... https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_js_scroll_to_top.asp Is there a way of making the header sticky that a novice can understand?
