  1. Hello everyone, my names Chris and I am a 3rd year CSE major at the Bren School of ICS@UCIrvine. This summer I thought it would be cool to learn the basics of web design/web development. I am making a small website for myself and I am focusing on learning (in order): (X)Html,CSS,PHP, and MYSQL. So far people have been really helpful here and I thank you.Just a small question, do you guys think (X)Html and PHP go well together? If so, how? Thanks again!~Chris
  2. How can this be done easily without cutting/copying the same code over and over? Can CSS help with this? Thanks!
  3. Do you have any advice about how I could do this without frameset? Thanks.
  4. Hello, my name is Chris and I have just started learning about web design/development this summer. I am learning (X)Html + CSS, and later on plan to learn PHP and Mysql(are these bad choices to learn?)Right now I have run into a small problem. For a personal website of mine, I planned to have a frame on the leftside that included links as well as a shoutbox. I want this frame to stay on the page always so that it does not have to be reloaded when the users click on the links(which will be shown on the right side of the page). What is the best way to do this? Basically I want to avoid reloading
