I use notpad2 coz its simple but has prettyfull colours and i can open my file quickly by pressing ctrl+s then ctrl+l which is fairly easy!

is it better to use percent like so:-

or px like so:-

i was thinking % because different screen resolutions may may make it look strange but some browsers may not support % correctly!!??!! any advise!!

most sites for example google i could type google.com in the address bar and get the correct site but whith w3schools i have to put www.w3schools.com in. Why?
