just like to say how i did it.using css, i placed all the plate builder items, such as the font, background images, etc, etc, into a container. the container is then positioned simply using float left. but the others i used position:relative.so all the images needed to build the plate are relative to the container, and the container is basicly the plate background.hope that made sense to anyone

Hi therethanks for your quick reply,the place i would like it to be is the space below the top nav ( image, number plates, image, show plates, etc )but above the boxes that say cost, registration, font.well i would like it where it makes sense, not placed over the side nav, top nav, where everything seems right.when i meant centered, i meant centered so it fits with everything. And when the browser is resized with the user it moves in accordance, so the plate is always in view of any browser size. you can go ahead and resize the browser, and everything will shift in accordance, well thats what i want the plate to do but it just stays fixed.cheers

Hi guys ive got this image that is placed using absolute, the image is a number plate background, check it at www.cool-plates.co.uk.the image you see. the plate builder, is placed using a php include. If you want to select something for example, from the drop down menu. the images are the ones im having trouble with as they do not move when you resixe the browser.i would like it to be aligned center, and also shift when the browser changes sidehow would i do that?

hi people,i have a drop down menu using css and on the same page i have bit of basic flash animation.The problem comes with layering i believe, something like z-index. the drop down menu seems to fall behind the swf file. heres the url www.tweedmill.co.uk/new1/its only viewable in internet explorer at the mo, as the css needs sorting out for fire fox.cheers

hi, just a quick post,i am using javascript for this plate builder.The problem was that when i placed the php include in the page, i placed it within a form tag and it stopped it from working.so i placed it outside the form tag, and positoined it using CSS.cheers for your help.

hi there, does this file upload and display the image straight away?? if so i wouldnt mind the script at all. :)im not having a problem uploading an image, the trobule is displaying the image and having it appear on the page straight away.i havent visited the link that had been suggested by jesh, so i will visit that as my question could have already be answered.cheers guys.

hi people,when completing a form and it says to click to the next page, and it presents new set of input fields to complete and then on the next page some more fields and then at the bottom of the form theres a submit button,to click once everything has all benn filled in.my question is what code does it use to pass the previous completed forms details to the next and then be submitted?is it using something like "GET_$variablenamehere" in the following pages until the last page which allows the user to submit the completed form?hope you understand what i mean.cheers

Hi guys, backiv read up and done my research, now im creating html files.how it works is that it overwrites the existing content of the newhtml page. Now if possible, i would like to the newhtml.page to have a certain look all the time and only want the text to change or image.so would like to set up the newpage.html to catch the data and place where i say, so kinda like having variables there that are replaced with what want i would like it to say saying. This is so i know where is going rather than just overwriting the whole page.did i make any sense?hope i did.cheers

hi guys, can i run a quick question by you, ive got this plate builder, pdesigner.php. Now i would like to add it in a page using a php include, but it fails to work. theres a box where you type in any text you want.now if you where to view it by directly going to the actual include,http://www.cool-plates.co.uk/pdesigner.phpand type in any text, in the inputfield. it appearsnow if you where to go to the page i want it included in,http://www.cool-plates.co.uk/sun-strips01.phpand type it, it doesnt appear.any ideas?there page needs sorting out look ways and all that but i want to see if this can be sorted outcheers
