ThinkStainless
Hi everyone,I'm currently trying to debug a website to view properly in Internet Explorer: http://www.thinkstainless.com/other/openode/index.htmlI've been trying to make various changes to the top and bottom grey bars in height, but changes in CSS don't work at all. I'm having a hard time trying to get changes I make in CSS to even display in IE. I created code to load a seperate stylesheet when the viewer is using Internet Explorer. See the site in Firefox to see how it is supposed to work. Help? Thanks,Tiffany
S@m
Check out this thread. It will (hopefully) help you set up some conditional comments for your style sheets...http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=10662I'm no good with frames, I haven't used them much so if it is a frame problem...I'm afraid I'm no help. aquatsr
Nice site!I can't help you out with your problem, but may I suggest you use CSS instead of framesets? Here is some source code you can look at for ideas (it's mine)http://dhost.info/aquatsr/uranium/ss1.css
ThinkStainless
there are NO FRAMES. I am using Ajax. I already have a conditional statement that links it to another stylesheet specifically for IE.
ste
the link you posted above is in a framesetheres the correct link: http://www.branmuffinindustries.com/thinks...node/index.htmlfirst off your logo isnt displaying properly in ie6 because ie6 does not support alpha transparency in pngs there is a fix in this thread:http://w3schools.invisionzone.com/index.ph...c=10683&hl=or you could just use a gif (not as good quality though)next thing. it looks like the news section is getting pushed down in IE check the widths margins and paddings for this and maybe make them a bit thinner in your IE style sheet
