puref0rlyfe
is it possible to set the height of a certain cell but not the one next to it so the smaller one doesn't get stretched to the same size as the big one.
rswildy
Hi, Could you explain it a little clearer or maybe add an example? Thanks, Rswildy.
puref0rlyfe
um, well when normally making a table, if i have some table data in a cell hat is say... 5 lines, then make another cell next to it that is only 1 line, the second cell gets stretched so it is the same height as the previous cell, i want to make the cell stay a certain height no matter how much text is in the one next to it. rswildy
I don't think that can be done however you can make it so that you can see 1 table on left side then right side could be visible with extra table under but no border i think, Never really crossed my mind to try that. you can always try making 2 X 2 table then removing 1 of the tables from inside so its 2 on 1 side and 1 on the other. aalbetski
not sure if this helps, but you could also use rowspan: <table border="1"> <tr><td>Cell</td><td rowspan="2">Cell<td>Cell</td></tr> <tr><td>Cell</td><td>Cell</td></tr> </table>
