Guest joy bengio Posted December 18, 2005 Share Posted December 18, 2005 Hello everyone,and Happy Holidays.I have a big problem I've been trying to create a database tru Microsoft access driver and I can't just do it.Everytime I get into the configuration ODBC, Database/ selection, Name of Database I'm stuck .I don't know what to do next I have tried so many times the same step in Administracion of Microsoft access but I always get stuck in select database.If anyone can help me I would be very greatful. Skemcin Posted December 19, 2005 Share Posted December 19, 2005 Creating an Access ODBC: click start, run paste "odbcad32.exe" in the prompt adn click ok goto the SYSTEM DSN tab and click ADD select "Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) and click Finish in the "Data Source Name" input area, type the name that you want to use to access the database the description field is optional, but I recommend adding something in there In the "Database" section of the prompt, click "Select..." Navigate to the database, select it and click OK When it appears in the "ODBC Microsoft Access Setup" prompt, click OK Let us know if this helps.
