boen_robot
JS can't fetch files on other domains. You need to either move the feed to where the JS is, vise versa, or create a PHP page on the reader domain and call that file instead. The PHP file only needs to echo the contents of the remote feed. ( create a PHP page on the reader domain is impossible !)Why dynamicdrive.com and my localhost (using Xampp) can run that code ?
boen_robot
Oh, right... should've guessed newsrss.bbc.co.uk is not your domain, meaning option 1 and 2 are dropped.By "the reader domain" I meant th site with the file with the JS that fetches the feed. That is myloves124.ifastnet.com.
smiles
The last reason that it doesn't work is free domain does not allow to access external file anyway, thanks !!!
