kaz
Hi,I need an answer to a question that has been bugging me this whole week. Do you create drop-down menu scripts seperately for each link or do you do one script for all the links?thanxkaz
aspnetguy
you can do it both ways but with a little planning you can use the same script for many links which saves you time and effort.
kaz
This bring me to my next question. I added a new link(Geology report) to the menu to make 6 instead of 5 and I created a new menu for this link. However, when the menu doesn't seem to work for this link and another link Course Content), which already has a menu, is also affected. What is going on? The url is http://kazmania.110mb.com/indices.html.
aspnetguy
it is the same error as I told you beforemenuitem6 is undefinedI assume you need to do this <script type="text/javascript"><!--var menuitem5 = new menu(6,5,"hidden");var menuitem6 = new menu(6,6,"hidden");// --></script>

aspnetguy
I'm not sure. Did you write that JS code or did you get it somewhere? Is there any documentation with it?
kaz
I've managed to create the menu for Geology Report. However, when I mouse over the link for "Course Content", the menu content just hangs. instead of fading out. why? once again, the url is http://kazmania.110mb.com/indices.html. funktifyknow
check you xhtml validity. you are using HTML 4.0 tags in an XHTML 1.0 Trans document. also check your event handler there is no onMouseOver only onmouseover.
kaz
So you're saying instead of OnmouseOver, it should be onmouseover.
