alt234 Posted June 21, 2007 Share Posted June 21, 2007 I was asking around on another forum about an issue I was having regarding having a border of an image change color when I hover over the image. The hover was working fine until you clicked it once and the initial gray border just disappeared. That issue is fixed, however when I click the link now the hover stops working. Here is my code... <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"><html> <head> <title>Costumes and Props</title> <META name="description" content="Flammend Schadel Studios"> <META name="keywords" content=""> <style type="text/css"> <!-- body { background-image: url('images/CostumesAndProps.gif'); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed } td { padding-bottom: .28cm; } a:link { float:left; border:solid 1px rgb(130,130,130); padding:2px; margin-right:10px; } a:hover { float:left; border:solid 1px white; padding:2px; margin-right:10px; } a:visited { float:left; border:solid 1px rgb(130,130,130); padding:2px; margin-right:10px; } --> </style> </head> <body bgcolor="black"> <p align="right"> <table border="0"> <tr> <td><a href="#"><img src="images/CobraCommander/CCLink.gif" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="#"><img src="images/GothicArmor/HarnessLink.gif" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="#"><img src="images/LensGothic/LensHarnessLink.gif" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="#"><img src="images/MuchAdo/506PIRLink.gif" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="#"><img src="images/FoolsMotley/FoolLink.gif" border="0"></a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href="#"><img src="images/Shields/GreenProtoLink.gif" border="0"></a></td> <td><a href="#"><img src="images/SkullBoss/SkullBossLink.gif" border="0"></a></td> </tr> </table> </p> </body></html> The page is located at this site. Then click on the "Costumes and Props" link on the left. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SmokingMan Posted June 21, 2007 Share Posted June 21, 2007 You might want to try moving the 'a:hover' below the 'a:visited'. Check out the W3C tutorial on this page.Hope this helps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
