midnite
Hi,i am using Gentoo Linux and get Apache and PHP installed. i would like to give some spaces in my web server to others for holding there webpages. Yet granting them to use PHP may cause troublesome and i may bear security risk. So i would like to ban the use of PHP in their directories. i cannot take away PHP from my computer as my own pages require PHP. i did consider banning them to upload *.php through ftp. But i dont think this is a good solution as they may have some trick to "create" or "simulate" a PHP file. And also i guess there must be a way to restrict PHP support to some particular directories and some not. But i have read through documentations of both Apache and PHP and still cannot find a solution. Could anyone give me some hints?PS: plain text or raw codes will be the output for *.php files in PHP-restricted folders. Thanks!!midnite
