Watchdog
I currently operate a web directory with a search feature that lets visitors look for whatever exists on the directory. I have a small problem though. If someone types in, say, "Web" the script will only return results containing "Web" but not "web" or "WEB". Is there a way to make the search non-case-sensitive in ASP?
aspnetguy
use the lcase() function when comparing values if lcase(userPhrase) = lcase(dbValue) then...match...end if This will change all values to lowercase.
