wilsonf1 Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 hi guysi really want to learn php locally on my pc, i run IIS for ASP but now i am installing WAMP which i was told will do the tricki installed wamp, set all services to run in the menu, and put the server to online, when i hit http://localhost/index.php i get can not find paththat is when i am directing it at the c: wamp/www/index.php in dreamweaveri have stoppped IIS as a service in case it clashesfinding info about this is a nightmare??!?!!!!!!!!xp pro..... boen_robot Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 Just to be sure: did you stopped IIS before installing WAMP? If not, then you'll need to reinstall it with IIS turned off. If you want to keep IIS running, you'll need to make it run on another port (or make Apache run from another port... same deal). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
