soona
Hi, Is there a way to solve this? I will be opening a webpage say, www.xyz.com. In this site I will be having list of menus again which one of them will point to www.xyz.com. On click of each menu, I need to check whether that site is opened already. If yes, I will reload it else open it newly. It works fine for all urls except the self one mentioned above. Can anyone help me to resolve this. Jesdisciple
What DOCTYPE are you using? If it's not Strict, you can use target="xyz" and "xyz" will always refer to the same window.http://learningtheworld.eu/2007/xhtml-with-target/http://www.accessify.com/features/tutorials/new-windows/

Jesdisciple
JS shouldn't be used if it's not needed. The target attribute is by far more widely recognized than JS. (Plus inline event handlers are poor practice.)
