cpugeek
Until recently I haven't had a Portfolio website displaying all of my work, because I've been doing all of my work locally for nearby businesses. But I want to advance and have my own portfolio website, and I wanted some pointers on what is critical for a portfolio website, what is common practice, or what 'extras' make a portfolio website special.(also since the website [for now] is going to be made using Wordpress, and I was curious if anyone else uses Wordpress, and if so did they use a theme and customize it or create their own and what plugins/external/optional scripts [if any] do they use?)Any and All help is appreciated. Synook
Indexhibit is the most popular CMS for portfolio websites. Wordpress doesn't quite fit...Portfolio websites are simple, to the point, and show your work in large pictures with easy-to-read text . Only a good portfolio can make a portfolio website special.
