boen_robot Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 The point of MD5 (and all other hashing algoritms like SHA1 for example) is that you can't retreive the original string (in this case - a password).So having said that, you can't modify a password. What you can do however, is to create a new password, create a new hash for it, and replace the hash from the old password.Merry cristmas and happy new year to you too.
