If You Upload Files

Like most of you, I just got my updated Firefox, 3.06. Sometimes I actually read the release notes. :)Here is the definitive word on accessing the complete filepath of a file you're uploading:

In prior versions of Firefox, there were cases in which when the user submitted a file for uploading, the entire path of the file was available to the web application. This privacy concern has been resolved in Firefox 3; now only the filename itself is available to the web application.

This question comes up from time to time, and this pretty much wraps it up. (Though many of us had already guessed that this was the case.)
