Marco Posted February 14, 2006 Share Posted February 14, 2006 Hi all,I've been send for "stage" to a company by my school ( that means i am still a beginner ), and I have set up a terminal server there.My following question: How do I make the top part of the web site role up and role down again when you hold your mouse pointer over it.In short: just like the auto hide on the windows task barAnd sinds I am a beginner who is eager to learn about html and it's internal programming languishes I would like to know with what kind of languish do I need to study to be able to do this and should I start with a specific lessen ?I am already starting to learn vBscript but I got the feeling that it is not powerful enof to help me.If there are multiple programming languish solutions for my problem and java is one of them I think it would help me if I learnt this one.I'm also working on auto change of background and a line of text that changes every xx sec in the vBscript programming languish, but that should be easy enof to figure out by my self.thank you for taking the time to read this post and I pray that you know the answer to my questions. That will be the building blocks to any server side scripting language you choose. In that respect, you have a few options that include php, asp, and cold fusion.For your navigation, you can use javascript or even flash for the effect you are looking for. The look and feel you are after will dictate its complexity. You'll most likely to find something if you google it or hit a couple javascript source code sites.
