Load Xml To Table

Hello...I am using JS functions to load an XML file and display the data fields in table rows/cells. The functions are working in IE, FF and Opera loading and displaying all the records, rendering a table of multiple rows - in this case from 3 XML records. I wish to modify this to show 1 record at a time in the table and use buttons to nav through the records. Need guidance in controlling the records in the table to 1 at a time. Have done this using the old data island technique, but want to use the DOM to accomplish this for all major browsers. Thanks in advance...
