reflex84
Hi Guys,I am curious to how this works. If you go to this site http://www.gomediazine.com/ you will notice that they have 3 different backgrounds website backgrounds.scroll down and you will see that before you get to the footer, there is no background .. just a black colour in between the header and footer... then you will get to the footer where there is a background ...Now my questions ... is how did they get a seperate footer background to ONLY stay at the bottom of the page and repeat itself? Thanks!Dale. jeffman
Virtually any page element can have its own background. I imagine they used a div or another suitable container at the bottom of the page and used CSS to assign it a background image.
Tykain
You can apply an image as background in any div and make it repeat itself with something like {background-image: url('image.png'); background-repeat: repeat-x;} then place the div wherever you want. ProblemHelpPlease
Check the background tutorial out on w3schools for examples on how to apply background colors, once you have mastered this then you can apply them to a variety of containers, div's, tables etc
