Basically there is the background color of the banner, and then the designer puts in a lot of very small kind of spaced out dots across the banner. The dots are usually a lighter hue of the background color. The dots don't really call the attention of your eye but they add texture to the banner that looks nice.I want to duplicate this effect on my banner but I can't figure out how to do it in photoshop.Here is an example of what I'm talking about: http://champions-online.com/ You can see it near the top of the page around the big champions online logo.I want to be able to do something like that, but I want the dots to be smaller and a bit more spaced out. Also if you look closely you will notice that the dots get smaller near the top on that website. I want mine to be equal size all around.Can anyone help me figure out how to do this?
