knystrom18
On which version of a script to to use. Which would you use and why? This one: http://www.digitalia.be/software/slimbox (non jQuery)orThis one: http://www.digitalia.be/software/slimbox2 (jQuery)Does it even matter?Thanks,- K
Synook
The "non-jQuery" one uses MooTools. So, if you have MooTools already installed, then you would save bandwidth by using that version. If you have jQuery installed, then then use the jQuery version. If you have neither... well, which library do you like more?
knystrom18
Haha, by installed I'm assuming you mean linking to the script?I don't really have a preference because I don't have enough knowledge to form one. They're both exactly the same to me. I've used jQuery once before though, so I guess I'm more familiar with that...Which one would you use? Why? Synook
In general, I find jQuery more flexible, but MooTools has nicer effects IMO. I use jQuery more often, so I would use that version.
