The "non-jQuery" one uses MooTools. So, if you have MooTools already installed, then you would save bandwidth by using that version. If you have jQuery installed, then then use the jQuery version. If you have neither... well, which library do you like more?

Haha, by installed I'm assuming you mean linking to the script?I don't really have a preference because I don't have enough knowledge to form one. They're both exactly the same to me. I've used jQuery once before though, so I guess I'm more familiar with that...Which one would you use? Why?

In general, I find jQuery more flexible, but MooTools has nicer effects IMO. I use jQuery more often, so I would use that version.
