birbal Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 i was just reading the zlib function..but i am not getting the difference and purpose of the deflate,compress and encode functions (zlib)..as far i am getting all are used for compressing the data..but why the diffrenn functions.? i think there is some diffrences..whats is that?thank you! The Zlib format is a third compression algoritm, similar, but not equivalent to Gzip.Different functions do compression or uncompression in one of these algoritms.
