mortalc
I looked at the HTML5 tutorial recently and noticed the "canvas" tag. I did a quick google and it has been heralded by many as the replacment of Flash. However, there is not nearly enough information to merit that. I also discovered many amazing webpages using canvas, so I would think it would be a good idea for a tutorial.
jeffman
It's got a heck of an API to master, though it's similar to other graphics API's I've used elsewhere. The best tutorials out there contain lots of very long pages.Already, third-party developers have libraries for simplifying a lot of canvas tasks, like drawing charts and graphs. rgraph is an example. I haven't used it, but it looks pretty cool.
Fmdpa
Here's a good tutorial: http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/javascri...vanced-drawing/At its current state, it is not a replacement for Flash. However, I'm sure the introduction of more libraries will make this challenge more credible.
ShadowMage
The API is insane. I'll definitely give you that. But the potential it has is amazing. This link was posted by Fmdpa a while back, but if stuff like this can be done now, Flash is going to become obsolete very quickly.http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/creatin...h-html-5-can-1/
