Demiscient
Hi all, I want to make a mobile web application. This app would have a datepicker and you'd be able to add and edit times during the day (for example, at 8am it would say "eat breakfast!" every day). So when it hits a certain time on the calendar, I want a javascript popup to appear to notify the user that time has come, no matter what page of the website they're on. So at 10am a popup could say "exercise time", at 12am it could say "time to feed your dog" etc etc--whatever is in the calendar, it notifies you. Is this possible? ShadowMage
You could create a "ticker" that would run every so often, which checks the calendar and create a popup if an event exists. Check out the JavaScript timing functions, particularly setInterval.
