davej
Seems like each forum should have a sticky for these two lists.
StevenHu
Your question is too vague. Are you referring to best practices for posting on this forum, or for HTML, or ... ? Things to avoid: Be vague in the scope of your question.

boen_robot
We kind of already have those... the FAQ/Tips kind of pages... what exactly do you propose we include (either in them or in separate topics)?
davej
Well, it might be confusing to mix the two. The entries in a FAQ could be similar, but in a FAQ the questions might lean toward the simplest way to do something. The best-practices answer might be the most reliable or most flexible method rather than the simplest method. boen_robot
"True" best practices typically require lots of explanation so that it's clear why they are best practices...If you feel like you can write a best practice list for something (that's not covered in any way by the FAQ/tips for that language) in a relatively simple fashion, write it, and I'll pin it.
