How to integrate Html site to wordpress or CMS

You need to determine which code to use to be as common header/footer. You would then apply it to the header/footer of the Wordpress theme template. You can also use Wordpress's menu function to replace your html version.

In most cases transitioning to Wordpress can go smoothly and if done right you can retain your design so that it looks exactly the same as your static site.

I've been looking for a software that's slightly easier to migrate to (on the designers aspect), and have come across textpattern cms. I haven't used it much, but I think their layout system is like using an XHTML editor, seeing as certain functions can be added using their XML in certain area's. as where with WP it's a matter of making a style of theme, and learning where to place the php.
