Hi all,I need some help.I m using embed tag to add a video clip on my web page.Is there any possibility that can check if video currently playing or stopped. Can anybody help me?Thank you,

I'm not aware of any way to check the status of a media file using the <embed> tag. Here's a link that gives you all of the info on the tag, but while it may work in most browsers (for now), it's not supported by the W3C standards. They recommend using the <object> tag. You can probably use JavaScript to detect if the movie is playing or stopped.

I have tried to search for event or method in javascript by which i can get the status of the video file, but i was failed to get any.
