jimfog Posted September 27, 2013 Share Posted September 27, 2013 I am making a cms for a booking app and the admin will be able to see the number of bookings at any moment. How can I do it so that the above updates continuously with ajax...like facebook newsfeed for example. Ingolme Posted September 27, 2013 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Generally a request is sent every 3 or 5 seconds using setInterval() Don't send requests too frequently or you'll waste a lot of bandwidth and possibly slow down the browser.
