Newbie incoming:) So I just wanted to listen to some experienced folks about this I don't have any experience coding, and a know little to none about HTML, PHP, ASP etc. I want to in some ways make a social site where people can post stuff on, nothing fancy, but farily attractive to people. How much work is it to start this from scratch? I would start off with just some HTML/CSS and get a good layout and something appealing first. Then start with list of features and take them one by one. I can't say how long it will take you, but probably a decent amount of time if you have experience at all. Everyone learns at their own pace.
