We all know (or at least anyone who uses Ajax) that results sent back to the main page are grabbed with JavaScript via "responseText." I would like to know if it's possible to grab the received information straight with PHP. I'd like to keep all variables within PHP, save for what needs to be sent to the server-side page through Ajax techniques.
