DannyR
Website disclaimer for a simple online game I am new to web development As part of my development, I am creating a free simple word guessing game ( with a hint) using javascript. The word is retrieved from a server (a servlet on the server) using ajax. I do not use any cookies or sessions. I plan to put this on my website. Apart from the game, the website will not contain anything else. Do I need a disclaimer on my website for this? If so, is below sufficient Disclaimer: The online game and any information on this website is given to you in good faith. You are using this website at your own risk. I will not be liable for any damages and losses caused by using this website. I would appreciate any help
Ingolme
This is more a question for a lawyer. Do you believe anybody is likely to sue you for the content on your website? Disclaimers are put in place when somebody is likely to file legal action against the site owner for any reason.
