vegebond
Using mysql, the mysqli_fetch_fields() function works as expected, regarding the 'name' and 'table' properties. But when querying the 'type' property, it returns a numeric value. It looks to me like either a bug in the software, or a problem with the documentation. I wonder if anyone else can shed any light on this issue.
Ingolme
PHP has a set of MYSQLI_TYPE_* constants that identify the field type. The list of them is here: http://php.net/manual/en/mysqli.constants.php
