Listbox Problem!

hey therei want to know, when i have chosen, lets say 3 values, out of a dropdownbox and i am displaying each of those values i chose in a listbox below, how do i save all that values, to write it to the database and the sql query string, must i create a variable for the listbox first or for each value i have chosen, and if so how do i do that?many thankslouis

Hi,The simplest way is to use a hidden variable and keep add the selected items name as a concatenated string and assign it to the hidden variable on posting back the page you can get the selected items by using the string.Split() method.If u need more info.Let me know.

I would suggest a hidden listbox..add the selected value on each postback then you can loop through once you have hiddenListBox.Items.Count == 3
