aspnetguy
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp Note this is only stats for the users that come to w3schools and do not apply to the web as a whole. This would be a more accurate chart http://marketshare.hitslink.com/report.aspx?qprid=
whatever_works
Thanks everyone for the replies. "aspnetguy" that was perfect!IE and Firefox seem to hold enough of the market, that that's all I will likely consider.I see Safari has a little chunk, but why would anyone worry about something like Opera ?That very limited group. justsomeguy
Opera is misreported because a lot of stats counters identify it as IE or Mozilla. It is small, but not as small as it appears to be. I always develop in Opera, because if I can get it to work right in Opera, it is only a short distance to both Firefox and IE. Developing for IE sometimes leaves you with major hacks to get it right in Firefox, and vice versa.
